Drionic Underarm Unit
The operation of the Drionic Underarm Unit is very similar to the Hand/Foot Unit
During the initial treatment period the Drionic needs to be used every day for up to 30 minutes. This is done until the perspiration is lowered to an acceptable level. For most people this happens in two to three weeks. If it does not occur after 6 weeks we recommend that the Drionic be returned for a refund of its purchase price.
The actual operation of the Drionic Underarm Device is quite simple:
For the Underarm Device the user wets both pads with tap water on each side of the module in each device and places them back in the module. New Drionic Underarm users can the turn power on to the low setting, place one device under each arm. An arm strap that comes with each device can be used to hold each device in position under the arm. Use the high power setting only after the user has become comfortable using the Drionic.
The user treats each underarm for up to 30 minutes. Some skin redness is normal after each treatment but this should subside within 30 to 60 minutes. If it does not discontinue further treatment until you consult with your physician.
The initial daily treatment period lasts for 2 to 3 weeks for most people. If it takes longer than 4 to 5 weeks General Medical Company recommends that the Drionic be returned to us for a full refund.
Ongoing treatment will be required by most users every six weeks or so. The reason for this is that the ions that have been pushed toward the sweat pores will neutralized and fall away. Thus replacement ions need to be delivered to replace the ones that have neutralized.
After each treatment the felt pads need to be removed and washed thoroughly with tap water and allowed to air dry. The pads hold the tap water used for the iontophoresis process.
