I caution anyone thinking about this procedure that the denervation goes far beyond the affected regions. The surgery has destroyed my life, in that I cannot tolerate heat, stress, or physical activity. Denervation also involves the elimination of body heat dispersion in the denerved areas. The surgeon did not communicate to me that denervation would occur far beyond the affected regions, nor did he inform me of the body's inability to disperse body heat in the denerved areas, creating a debilitating compensatory heat/hyperhidrosis condition.

I was a user of the Drionic devices for palmar hyperhidrosis, and wish I would have decided to continue woth those instead of the dangerous surgery.

This summer's hot weather has only exacerbated this devastatingly catastrophic condition, producing daily physical and psychological punishment that is now beyond my ability to cope. The hot weather produces nausea and vomiting in addition to the torrential sweating. I am literally a prisoner to this insidious condition, feeling
